Mass Timber Construction
This research project, conducted in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, documents and analyzes medium to large scale buildings that employ advanced timber construction systems, including glued laminated timber (Glulam), cross-laminated timber (CLT), and laminated veneer lumber (LVL). Through photographic documentation and technical analysis, the project examines the structural, architectural, and construction characteristics of these engineered wood products, with a particular focus on their application in large-scale residential and housing developments.
