Nordic Chain Dwellings

This ongoing study of Nordic housing focuses on medium sized developments using template designs to create a “chain” of dwellings.  These examples achieve Scandinavian craftsmanship while keeping the overall forms standardized, simple, and design-forward. The design discipline embedded in the architecture, practical shared common areas, and an economy of scale, results in cost-effective housing that families can afford.
